Mango have become one of our favourite women’s clothing brands here at Fashionbeans headquarters. The girls in the office love the youthful and edgy pieces they produce each and every season, and at a price that won’t make our bank managers wince! This season Mango have concentrated on light and laid back true summer pieces that will take you from the beach to the club seamlessly OR for the professionals amongst us; the office to cocktail bar!
The range features everything you need for a summer wardrobe; with the core being beautiful light, airy dresses in clean and simple cuts embellished with embroidery, ribbons and braids. No summer wardrobe would be complete though without slouchy lightweight knits and tops, cute denim shorts, on trend maxi dresses and a nice helping of floral print to bring out your girly side.
The Look Book
In order to give us inspiration and to show just how versatile the new range is, Mango have produced an amazing Spring/Summer 10 look book and we have picked out some of the best summer outfits to preview below. What’s more, we are also going to show you the items you need from their new range in order to get the looks:

The Looks
From Top Left Clockwise
Outfit 1
So outfit one is perfect for a day at the beach or for those of you lucky enough to be jet setting off this summer to exotic places. We love the cute denim dungarees with the ever so nonchalant drop of one shoulder strap. This reveals the bikini top underneath, showing you are prepared for a quick dip in the pool or topping up the tan. Pair with some cool bold statement sunglasses and chunky jewellery and round it off with the matching denim look bag in order to carry all the essentials – book, sun cream, magazines etc.
Outfit 2
A beautiful outfit which uses nude tones to produce an excellent day time outfit which will work right through the last few weeks of Spring and into the hot Summer months. We love the light and sexy playsuit and how it has been layered with a crochet knit (cut out trend) and tied together with a great contrasting brown belt in order to give that womanly shape. Again we are really working the accessories in this look with some great chunky bracelets, as well as the nude sunglasses and straw hat. Use the nude coloured gladiators to keep the feel girly but add some fashion forward edge to the look:
Outfit 3
This outfit uses pastels and light summer colours to create a really chic daytime look which would be perfect on dress down Friday, out shopping with the girls and then on to cocktails in the bar at night. We love the bangle stacking yet again as it helps make the look your own. We also think this particular skirt with the fold and bow detailing is to die for! It must be packed in our suitcase this year:
Outfit 4
We can definitely see this look being perfect throughout the summer festival season and it is tres boho chic. We love the cute print dress matched with the lightweight denim waistcoat, which gives a beautiful colour contrast as well as providing some interesting layering even in the hot weather. Pair with some chunky bracelets and a tan bag to provide a contrast within the top half and also allow you to practically carry your essentials. The boots are our favourite piece in this ensemble though and a real eye-catcher… we must have them!
