The new celebrity ‘IT’ bag…
So we know everyone’s wearing studs this season but today I’m going to add a new addition to the collection and introduce you to the new MUST HAVE celebrity IT bag!

Celebrities such as Nicky Hilton, Diane Kruger and Rachel Bilson have been spotted wearing the very cute, American Designer Phillip Lim Edie Bag – in fact, from the pics below, you could assume its Rachel Bilson’s favourite bag!

The adorable “EDIE” bag is from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall Collection and is the standout accessory for this season. The shoulder bag is made from soft leather with a large feminine bow and gold studded detail to add a finishing touch. I love the contrast on this bag of girly and pretty bows with hard, edgy studs. I also like the black and gold combination, which are great colours in any season, and the shoulder strap detail gives the bag an expensive finish.

If you have recently won the lottery then you may be lucky enough to be able to afford the actual designer bag which retails at approx $895, however I’m sure most of you are like me and need a ‘slightly’ cheaper version please!

They are all perfect for day and night use as they can be pretty much worn with anything, whether dressed up or down. Wear your new studded bag in the same way as Rachel Bilson with tailored basics, skinny jeans & blazer or with an extra-casual look, baggy jeans, cardigan and beanie hat or even wear it on a night out with leggings or a cute dress and heels. The only thing I would say is don’t go too over board with the studs! So if you wear your studded bag keep the studded leather jacket and studded boots in the wardrobe that day! Keep it simple.
